WorldSkills is the largest international skills Competition in the world, with more than 1,000 competitors from 50 countries. It brings together young people from across the globe to compete to become the best of the best. At stake is the honour of being the greatest in the world at their chosen skill. The four days of Competition run from 5-8 October 2011 at ExCeL London and, in the run up to WorldSkills London 2011, a skills festival from 19 September − 9 October 2011 will take place across the UK, giving thousands of people the opportunity to ‘Have a Go’ at skills as diverse as cooking, hairdressing and bricklaying. |
