Yoshino - Opening Stores and Drawers

 
Yoshino Japanese Sushi Restaurant Piccadilly Place LondonThe popular Japanese restaurant Yoshino at Piccadilly Place has opened a new delicatessen at 59 Shaftesbury Avenue serving sushi dishes to take out.
 
The new preparation kitchen and serving areas in the Shaftesbury Avenue store were fitted out by Contract Catering Equipment Ltd of Langdon Hills, Essex. Included in the design were ten Adande refrigerated drawers. These were placed in the preparation kitchen and behind the service counters.
 
The Adande drawers were specified by the restaurant owner Mr Yoshino who was aware of their exceptional performance.
 
Adande's refrigeration units use revolutionary, patented technology with drawers that are each insulated. Not only does that mean easy access and cleaning with the drawer layout but unlike conventional door or drawer refrigeration units, when an Adande drawer is opened the cold air does not fall out. Temperatures are maintained where you want them and less energy is used.
 
SushiExceptional temperature stability, fewer freeze/thaw events and less (drying) air flow mean that food quality is maintained for longer. This is particularly important for fish, meat and ice creams or sorbets. Moreover the drawer can be kept open for extended periods while preparing food. These characteristics make Adande refrigeration units ideal for use in restaurants and Sushi outlets like Yoshino.
 
Each Adande unit can be used as a fridge or freezer with the temperature being set in single degree increments from -20° to +15°C. A blast chill option can also be added.
 
At the same time as the delicatessen was being opened four Adande drawer refrigeration units were placed in the kitchen at the original Yoshino restaurant at Piccadilly Place. Access was quite difficult, which is typical for central London restaurants, but that was not an issue with the modular Adande drawers.
 
We expect Yoshino to open more delicatessen stores and that will mean more drawers to open!
