Each drawer's low velocity cooling system prevents dehydration - the cold air percolates around the drawer bin, leaving no 'hot spots' and, as a result, no air gaps need be left between stored food items.

Modular system units come in two footprints (rectangle or square) and can be stacked up to three units high. This allows users to specify bespoke Adande units for any number of applications, even in the cookline, the hottest area of the kitchen.
With the ability to bespoke our units - worktop extensions, gantries, fixed frames and so on - designers have even more flexibility when planning kitchens.
The rear engine Adande unit can be sited up against a wall, and even with an oven on each side.So long as it is on a castor base the unit will be able to breathe through the vent path that expels the warm air back into the kitchen by going under the base of the unit....right up to ambient temperatures as high as +43° C.

Adande Drawers only require 4 defrosts per 24 hour period, compared to an average of 6 with conventionally manufactured units.

With minimal cold air loss temperature recovery is quick and requires the compressor to work less hard.
The Adande design does not involve bonding a metal skin to plastic insulated parts - the Adande Drawer bin sits between two German made steel runners (tested for over 500,000 movements) to create the only drawer refrigeration that can operate in freezer mode, because the runners cannot stick as they are at ambient temperature.
As there are no doors there are no hinges to fail.
